Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Multitood collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using Multitood, you agree to the practices described here.

"Multitood," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Multitood and its operating entity. "You" and "your" refer to the person or organization using the platform.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment details are processed and stored by our payment provider (Stripe) — we do not store your full credit card number.

Content You Upload: When you use Multitood, you upload video and audio files for translation and dubbing. We process and temporarily store this content to deliver the service you requested.

Voice Data: Some features involve AI voice cloning to match the original speaker in dubbed output. Voice data is processed solely to generate your dubbed content and is not used for any other purpose.

Usage Data: We collect basic information about how you use the platform, including login activity, features used, credit consumption, and project history. This helps us improve the product and troubleshoot issues.

Device and Browser Information: We may collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URL. This is used for security, analytics, and platform performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and improve Multitood's services, process your translations and dubs, manage your account and billing, communicate with you about your account or service updates, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your content or voice data to train AI models. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

3. Voice Data Handling

We understand that voice data is sensitive. Here is how we handle it:

Standard Processing: When you use Standard Processing, your audio may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate dubbed speech. These providers process the data according to their own privacy policies, which we review for compatibility with our standards. We do not control how third-party providers retain or handle data once it is transmitted to them.

Private Processing (when available): When you use Private Processing, all voice cloning and speech generation occurs on Multitood's own infrastructure. Your voice data is never sent to a third-party provider.

Under both methods, Multitood does not sell, license, or repurpose your voice data. Voice data is retained only as long as necessary to complete your project, unless you choose to store it for future use within your account.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate the platform. These include payment processing (Stripe), cloud infrastructure providers, and AI processing providers (for Standard Processing). These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and data protection policies.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Uploaded content and project files are retained for a reasonable period after project completion to allow you to access and download your results. You may request deletion of your content at any time by contacting us.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a portable copy of your data.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect platform functionality.

9. Children's Privacy

Multitood is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Users

Multitood is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our infrastructure or service providers are located. By using the platform, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Multitood after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
